Axle or splined shafts are an important power transmission tool in construction machines and reducer boxes. Because of the power transmission and continuous load, the origin of materials are also important. In the splined shafts we manufacture, generally C4140 – C4340 – C8640 – C5140 materials are used. To increase the strength; the microstructure of the material is tempered and the hardness is decreased or increased according to the requirement, usually made of 32-37 Hrc.
